Check it out is a smart watt-hour meter designed for families. Experience design is involved in the reification of the amount of energy use and, at the same time, making energy saving a daily task for family members.

Energy Left Today
The daily goal (how much electricity people can use in a day) is calculated according to how much people want to spend on electricity fee every month. The daily energy used is visualized on the meter.
Today's Balance
If the electricity used is less than the daily goal, the electricity left will be calculated into "dollars" and showed on the button. Press the button at the end of the day, the amount on the button will be added to the total deposit.
Progress Bar of Deposit
The concept of the progress bar is a "coin bank". People save money by breaking their own goals every day. Users can set their own goals of how much money they want to save, and the progress toward their goals will be shown on the bar.
